Well, hello. I’m glad to make the first post on our new blog a tribute to my dad. One of my favorite things about Dad is that he’s very much ahead of his time. Dad designed things 25 or 30 years ago that are trendy now. He marches to the beat of his own drum. We call him the non-conforming conformist. He fits in just enough to not get arrested.
Sometimes you need someone to push you to do something new and different. Dad has always challenged me to reach a little higher–which is appropriate since I’m only 4’10”. (LOL!)
Almost every Sunday, we open a bottle of wine and have our own design-off. Whoever wins takes the basic idea and runs with it. We’re just happy that we can we can buy alcohol on Sundays, now.
